Women Using Yasmin and Yaz Warned of Health Risks
Health Canada is warning women on birth control pills Yasmin and Yaz that they are at a higher risk of blood clots.
According to the agency, the medication uses a different type of hormone than other forms of birth control pills.
The contraception carries the well-known side effect of blood clots.
